The Back the Blue Box contains a collection of special-edition, handmade thin blue line products from some of the best small businesses of the Blue Ridge. These products have all been made exclusively for the Back the Blue Box!! This box is a beautiful community collaboration that shows our love and support for the peace keepers in our community of Boone and Watauga County. And for every Back the Blue Box purchased, we donate 10% of the purchase price to Back the Blue NC!!
Here's what's inside the Back the Blue Box:
- One handmade leather thin blue line flag patch from Grounded Works in Blowing Rock, NC. You will choose the leather patch sewn onto a hat *OR* the standalone leather patch with hook & loop backing. You may also choose to include both the hat and the standalone patch in your box! Make your choice in the drop-down menu above. Choose: "HAT with sewn-on patch"=leather thin blue line flag patch sewn directly onto solid black Richardson 112 hat; "PATCH with hook & loop backing"=standalone leather thin blue line flag patch with black hook & loop backing for easy application on tactical gear, backpacks, etc; or "BOTH hat AND patch"=both the hat with sewn-on patch AND the standalone patch with hook & loop backing
- One handmade wooden thin blue line flag from Veteran Made Rustic Flags in Boone, NC. Name can be added to the back of the flag for an additional $12. If choosing name add-on, please type name/title/call# exactly as you'd like it to appear on the back of the flag
- Two special-edition blue line brown butter rice krispy treats from Sweet Dreams Patisserie in Boone, NC
- Two special-edition blue sugar cookies from Appalachia Cookie Company in Boone, NC. The famous, made-from-scratch sugar cookies you know and love from App Cookie Co, but these are made with blue sugar crystals!
- One Back the Blue NC decal sticker
- One Blue Ridge in a Box decal sticker
- Two commemorative bracelets honoring K9 Deputy Logan Fox 149 and Sgt Chris Ward 118
You may also make additional donations to Back the Blue NC and will receive special gifts of stadium cups or embroidered patches that were graciously donated by the Watauga County Sheriff's Office, the Boone Police Department, the Appalachian State University Police Department, or additional commemorative bracelets graciously donated by a private contributor. These items are very limited in quantity and/or limited-edition. The embroidered department patches are quite coveted. 100% of these additional donation amounts will be given to Back the Blue NC. The additional donation amounts with gifts are as follows:
- For an additional $5 donation to Back the Blue NC: one additional commemorative bracelet honoring K9 Deputy Logan Fox 149 and Sgt Chris Ward 118
- For an additional $10 donation to Back the Blue NC: two additional commemorative bracelets honoring K9 Deputy Logan Fox 149 and Sgt Chris Ward 118
- For an additional $10 donation to Back the Blue NC: three plastic stadium cups (one cup from each of the three major Boone/Watauga County, NC law enforcement departments: Watauga County Sheriff's Office, Boone Police Department, and Appalachian State University Police Department)
- For an additional $30 donation to Back the Blue NC: three embroidered patches (one patch from each of the three major Boone/Watauga County, NC law enforcement departments: Watauga County Sheriff's Office, Boone Police Department, and Appalachian State University Police Department)
The Back the Blue Box can be shipped anywhere in the US or locally delivered in the High Country of NC as follows:
Boxes being shipped will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. You will choose your ship date from the calendar at checkout. This is the date your box will leave the warehouse. Due to the handmade nature of the leather patches and wooden flag, please choose your ship date at least one week in the future.
Boxes being delivered locally within the High Country of NC can be delivered on your day of choosing anywhere in or around the areas of Boone, Blowing Rock, Deep Gap, Fleetwood, Foscoe, West Jefferson, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis, Vilas, Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, Sugar Mountain! You will choose your delivery date from the calendar at checkout. Due to the handmade nature of the leather patches and wooden flag, please choose your delivery date at least one week in the future.
